RE: Clear Alternatives LED Taillight
I've got one on mine....love it!! It's really bright, ALOT brighter than the stock filament bulb light. My only grump is kinda stupid but it's that the lighted part is just a perfect rectangle. I put a clear alternatives light on my roomates 600RR as well, and his the lights for the shape of the light and go down into the corners, wereas mine does not. Minor complaint though so no biggie, and I'm still very happy with it! Super easy to put in, and it came with the resistors so the signals don't flash fast either!
Here's some pics

Awesome pics Jared, thanks for posting.
One question for you: It looks like you still have the stock under tail and rear fender. What did you end up doing with the stock rear turn signals when you installed the new tail light? Did you just unscrew and disconnect them?
Thanks.

Thanks!! I do still have the stock undertail, but got rid of the fender with the help of my friend mr. dremel. When I put the integrated taillight on I just took the stock signals out and unplugged them (actually cut the connectors off and used them for the new light), but now I need to chop more off cuz I still have the empty holes there where the signals were. I've been wanting to make it shorter anyways, then just move the plate up closer to the light and maybe reposition the trunk lock underneath somewhere. Someday I might actually go buy an undertail... after HID's though of course! hahah

That makes sense. I too have a customized undertail thanks to Mr. Dremmel. I'm thinking about getting one of the Olson Custom Design undertails, but can't get the guy to email me back. Besides, they are kind of pricey.

thirdgenlxi, thanks for the pics, that light looks real smooth on your bike. however, i was hoping that someone would have this light for an 01-03 F4i, as thats the year im looking at. anyone?
as for undertails, i like this undertail, as i think it looks like something that would come from the factory:

i think that this undertail and a clear alternatives LED light would look awesome together.
