My wife is a good cook, and damn it I like to eat!Not to mention I work 12 hrs a day, which doesn't leave much desire for exercise.[:'(]

I'm about 150lbs (not chubby), and the 600 pulls me around just fine....only feels slow when I'm getting left behind by all the guys on 1000s on the straights....I'm good in the corners though.

5'10" 200 lbs. athletic build.
My f4i pulls me around just fine.
11.40s @ 122mph not too shabby for "just a 600"

My manual on my 02 said max weight for two riders is 390lbs. But my wife and myself on it comes out to like 500 almost and it has done ok. Just akward cause of top heavy. She gets pissed cause I don't take her alot. I keep tellin her we gotta lose some weight.

Agree that the new 1000 is ugly.
Here's my take on power: Years ago I met a guy who says he raced an F3 or F2 (don't recall) and Ran a CBR900 as his streetbike. I understand why now. Most riders in this area can only twist the throttle, but most cannot corner worth a damn.

I was considering getting a new bike for the street and getting the new CBR1000RR just for the bling factor, but after thinking it over- If the F4i goes track only I'm leaning toward.....(gulp) Cruiser.

Anyone that thinks a 600 has nothing, tell them to take it to the track. When they say that it means they have become complacent. You'd be doing them a big favor by offering them the challenge of learning a new skill. Street and track are different worlds.
