This post makes me laugh, cuz I am 5'5" and 150 lbs. And racing is just a big pissing contest. Who cares who's is faster? All sportbikes are fast and speeding on public roads is asking for an accident or jail. Ride responsible and be safe.

after 4 hits of PCP everything feels slow, especially to a harley owner
f4i will run circles around the 883 sportser. if you are referring to the Vrod then yes, the f4i might not keep up.
the bottom line for you comparison is this. its not the weight of the bike + the rider, nor the amount of torque or power produced by the bike. it all comes down to the expectation from the rider.
some riders think they need more power, others think they need more torque + etc and after you had you fill of the bike you will always want to upgrade to something faster and more powerful.

harley people always under estimate the sports bikes because of the smaller displacement. its the nature of the game.
there is a reason why they are called supersport bikes; and how many harlys do you see on the track during a MotoGP race?

edit:
spelling boo-boos

Well i'm 6' and 200 lbs w/out gear and I have smoked my friend on his 954 when I had my F4i.These F4i's are very fast,I kind of miss mine, but like the torque of my bike, but that's about it. As far as HD my co-worker has a 1200 w/ a screaming seagull kit in it and he thinks he's the ****e,but smoked his @ss on my Yamaha seca 600 which has about 50 HP.Just ride what you like and be safe.

LOL a stock hog out run our "little" bikes.WOnt happen.EVER..

Mine moves me just fine.Im 255 before gear. The only thing our bikes lack is the suspension/sag for us heavier folks. But that is sorted out(actually fairly easy and cheap).
