Chubby riders
Well for the cost comparison you can tell that Harley guys to suck a left nut. If you put 25K into an F4i the Harley would just hittin 2nd while ur hitting your brakes at the end of a 1/4. If the acceleration factor is a big deal drop your front sprocket and raise the back. Move you power to lower in your RPM range. That Harley isnt going 150 anyway so it wouldnt matter. 600cc bikes have a lot more potential than 98% of riders know what to do with or even how to unleash it. Yes 1000cc do have a lot more power but the experience is what matters. I had a ZX-9R and I personally think my F4i pulls my fat *** around better than the 900. I am 6'1" 225.
It is good to hear that there areriders on this forum that are over 200 lbs (except for the health reasons) and ride a 600cc sportbike. I just think most of the people who give me crap about riding a 600 need the bigger and better toys to compensate for other issues. I actually had people groan in disappointment when I told them I rode a 600. And then look at me like I just wasn't good enough to ride the big bike. But I'm happy with my F4i and I go as fast as I need to.At least we can laught about it.
Ok dude here ya go. I am 6'1" and 320, very stocky. I have never had a problem keepin up with anyone. I don't race track and don't drag race. After 3 years this bike still can scare me. I only have problems ridin 2up (suspension don't like it). Even at that the bike is damn quick.
Some interesting facts, here is something to think about. If you weight 150 and you have a passenger of 150 you are now hauling 300 lbs of weight. And there is still more that enough power to haul 300 lbs and still outgun a Harley. Intriguing isn't it?
I saw a show on the V-Rod and it said it did 0-60 in 3.5 seconds which was half of the next fastest Harley. A 600 can do it in what, 3.1 seconds? No air cooled Harley is going to keep up.

id rather be lighter and have good maneuverability and all that then just have a big bike that can do 0-60 a little faster than i can
My manual on my 02 said max weight for two riders is 390lbs. But my wife and myself on it comes out to like 500 almost and it has done ok. Just akward cause of top heavy. She gets pissed cause I don't take her alot. I keep tellin her we gotta lose some weight.
