Default Chrome rims

How much is it to chrome the bike rims or would it be cheaper just to by chrome ones that fit. I have heard of both but dont know which one is better

Does anyone have their bike chromed out or chrome rims

Its more for looks because i know it would make the bike heavier.

polish your rims... It takes some time and work (and non-stop cleaning) but it's the cheapest / best performance...

Here's a small write up. https://cbrforum.com/m_88823/tm.htm
There are a bunch more small articles here and there on this site if you just search for rim polishing on here.

I had chrome rims on my 94 F2, it came with them when i bought it. They were a bitch to keep clean, but they did look really good. Good luck and show some pics when you finish whatever mods you're doing.

I think this came up in an earlier post where chroming adds weight to the wheels and can offset balance at higher speeds. Polish it FTW

Just finished polishing mine last week. Best bang for the buck and damn well shiny enough to be thought chromed. [sm=smiley32.gif]

does anyone have any pics of a red/black f4i with polished rims? I'm really curious on how it'd look on my bike.

if it doesn't look as good, i'll probably still do it just to have fun polishing a rim for myself.

great post man.
