I tried to take a few shots of my back tire up real close and it is kinda fuzzt, but you can see my chicken strips. Measurement wise, they are pretty small, the left is defenitely a little bit bigger, though, as i tend to lean hard on right turns like DT. I have Dunlop Quali's and really dont know if i could wear them all the way off or not, i get real close to peg scraping, too.

Man Woody that looks freakin fun!!!! I wish I could do that that would be so sweet and what a rush I bet! I would go to a track day but NOT with my own bike I'd rent one or something if they do that. I'd be too afraid of trashing my baby.

ah don't worry about the bike, as long as your ride within your limits and don't go crazy you'll be fine
track riding is SO much more fun than street riding

it's all about confidence. i wore out my 00' r6 peg feelers, even bent my shift lever. my F4i is a totally different bike and i'm slowly gaining trust in the front tire

honda's have less ground clearance in general to keep you from low-siding. the peg feelers touch down pretty easy[sm=icon_cheers.gif]

If you're hanging off the bike in a turn in order to keep your bike more upright, wouldn't that mean relatively big chicken strips?

Correct but, you can still get off the bike quite a bit (reducing needed lean angle, but not eliminating the need to go all the way to the edge of the tire at times), AND get the tire leaned over all the way. It's called.... SKILL lol

Those aren't chicken strips, those are chicken boogers

the other thing the F4 will do is touch down the lowers when leaned over hard... I've got a set that have 6" rash on either side. NOT DONE ON THE STREET.

chicken strips are nothing to worry about. If you are really worried about them, take a rider course on a track. They'll get you moving your weight properly, and in a controlled environment on a tight track you'll be leaning her over plenty hard - properly.
