Who cares what anyone says, this is a beautiful hybrid. Actually the carb version in the 99-2000 F4 is the best in that it was the perfected years of experience end of run water cooled through the carb version. 01 F4i was a new run for injection and has first time issues. Actually the second half of 03 and up f4i has better injection and has been revised if you look closely at the Honda Tech bulletin. Excellent.

kewl, i've had thoughts of throwing an R1 tail on one of my projects since I have one laying around, but that seems to flow pretty well, good job

 

Nice lookin' machine man... props for puttin' it all together yourself.

Something to think about: Instead of painting the tail, get ahold of alloutgraphics or tapeworks and get some cool decals/graphics to finish it off. Last week I ordered some decals for the tail of my F4i from tapeworks and they turned out pretty decent (check my album for more info). And the guys there are great, I told them "Hey I don't need to entire body kit ($299), I just need the two pieces to do the tail." It wasn't a problem at all for this particular kit, they cut the decals immediately and I had the decals in two days (for $60 plus shipping).
