I think I have that same crack, but it's no big deal at all. I thought about repairing it, but I was too anxious to paint and see if I like it!

ah man! at first i wuz like why would u put that on ur nice bike? but kept scrolling down and i gotta admit the outcome came out pretty sweet, nice match up with the yellow, not bad!

im suffering here though man,get some sliders!!
and if u are....watch out with sliders on eBay though i bought two from separate buyres, ended up getting a refund on the first ones and the second ones sent me to home depot for sum moding..

CourtJester: I finished painting, 1000 grit sand, couple touch-ups, 2000 grit sand. Still looks cloudy. Tested some polishing compound on it and I like the result. Probably finish it and wax it tomorrow, then pix.

 

The wife just called mine has showed up going home at luch to take a look at it. I will up load some pic once I get it done. Did any one else get any kind of install instruction with theirs.Also what holds the lights inplace.

 

I didn't notice any instructions with mine. Install is pretty straight-forward. I plan to use some hot glue to keep the signals in place. That way I can cut the glue and remove them if I want to repaint in the future.

 

Painted, sanded, buffed and waxed. Not bad for rattle can. I left the section over the tire a little rough because it would get ugly over time anyway. I'm already thinking I might redo it and leave the whole thing a little rough - no 2000 grit and no buffing. We'll see after it's on the bike.
