I don't own a manual please scan the page that says its designed for 87. high compression always runs into detonation issues when running 87. compression is still compression the amount of pressure in each cylinder is still the same. You wouldn't run regular in a ferrari engine with 12:1 cp would you?

but realistically are you that cheap that you want to save 60 cents a tank?
cheap has nothing to do with it..MY bike gets worse gas mileage with 93 than 87.My bike makes a nice 97hp at the tire on 87.It has zero detontation issues on 87 so why do i need more.

AS far as telling me about high compression and pump gas .I wouldnt go there..
Im a auto tech by trade 19 years plus have a very nice 600+rwhp stang (hence my screen name)that runs on 93 ..

Well. if you say it runs better on 87 go for it!. I am just merely stating my opinion, and plus i never said anything was wrong with pump gas. I said regular (87). I have never run anything less then 91 on anything with a higher cp then 9:1, Or if its boosted, maybe that's just me.

Try running your stang on 87, see how that feels.
The car that i sold before going to school was a 647rwhp Single T66 supra, Running 25+psi.
since you have 19 years of experience tell me if you would run 87 on that.
come on man, what are you trying to argue here?

He said i bashed pump fuel. I said pump fuel was fine just 87 was not good for high cp or boosted situations. and he said running 87 is cool, So i told him to run 87 in his mustang because that is sure to predetonate on 87, especially because he is pushing those numbers.

I have engine shots of the supra. They are very dirty and never cleaned up. Its kind of a horror show. If you are still interested i can post some up!

Never bashed you on pump gas.Its just required to run 91up in our bikes,if it was a rr yes its required but not on a f4i.. As far as 87 in my stang.Yep have a tune for it..No spark knock and still belts out 500rwhp..
just like anything else ,its your vehicle run what you want..
