i was wondering if anyone has bought this chain before?
i want to use it since i have it but if it will fly apart on me on the highway, where i do most of my riding, i will just junk it and get a good chain...

I bought one too. Looks to be good quality. I doubt there are many "chain" manufacturers, just the same as spring companies.

I'm putting one on my track bike. I'll let you know how it works...

I took not as big meaning the chain is a 520 instead of a 525

I thought so too...if that's the case...don't use it, cause it's the wrong size chain, hahaha.

A snapped chain can do some serious damage to you and your bike, i wouldnt use a cheap chain.

What makes an expensive chain worth the money over a "cheap" one, in your opinion?

It doesn't really matter, I'll be using it on the track this year, and that will decide for me. I'm just curious. How many times have you heard of these "cheap" chains snapping?

Looks like the standard o-ring chain to me. 525 is a bit more sturdy/heavier than the 520, but on the street it means better life.

The only thing I'd make sure is that the master link is the RIVETED type, NOT the clip. CLIP = SKETCH
