Changing the windscreen

thanks guys
I dunno how other windscreen are but I had to transfer those rubber nubbins over to my new windscreen..that was a complete PITA. worst part about it..I late realized the screen had a defect and I had to transfer them all back
Replacement parts very rarely, if ever, are sold with hardware. That said, I didn't have much of a problem with the "rubber nubbins." I just used a screw driver to put them back in.
rubber nubbins?
Mine came with the gold "volcano" style allen screws to mount the windscreen, with normal bolt and washer underneath . It's a pain in the a$$ to get to the bolts all the way behind the gauge cluster without them dropping down into the front of the bike. These rubber nubbins sounds interesting.
I just replaced mine about 2 days ago...my last ebay screen was sun-bleached.

Its technically simple but physically a PITA. And yes the rubber nubbins are the wosrt part. But I discovered that the needle nose channel locks I have make the last 2 behing the gauge cluster infinitely easier.
