i hated the fact that i couldnt find an undertail exhaust kit for my 02 f4i but now that i shortened my yoshimura and made my own undertail i actually like it a whole lot better than an undertail exhaust.

 

looks sickk...did you use the 'how to' on here to make the undertail or go at it a different way? I'm thinking of making my own also, kinda curious on cost, etc. if you dont mind enlightening me

God. That picture of the undertail is horrible, nothing lines up and looks like it was cut with a hack saw. I'm fine with mine on the side. I think undertail looks much cleaner, but would be much louder, and rattle the seat much more.

 

What about if you put a 600rr Swingarm on the f4i and routed the exhaust up that way instead of going around the swingarm? I'm probab;y adding confusion.....but i did the 600rr swingarm swap and i was wondering this same question myself.

In a nutshell, not having the pics in front of me, you should be able to replace the swing arm, and at that point, just do the tail for ease. Once that's done, you'll have to get the 600rr tip, and potentially custom fab a pipe just out of the engine. But it would be much easier. That is IF buying a new bike is out of the question. Cause it'd be dumb not too at this point.
