CBR BOGGING DOWN WONT GET PASSED 45mph

Okay, I will try to do that on my way home. But what sounds am I listening for? I know when you first turn the run switch in when ignition is on, it makes the priming noise. But what am I listening for while it's just idling? Is there an actual test I can do beside listening for it? The part I've been waiting on is coming in tomorrow so I plan to take the bike apart to get down to the speed sensor. While I have it open is there a test to confirm or deny if the fuel pump is going out? If it is going out, would that give me the problems I'm having? Sputtering/hesitation with power? With intermittent killing and minimal speed increase to a point where the bike dies? Then after a few minutes is "able" to go again? Thank you for the support and help this far!

Okay, I will do my best to.... I guess get it to not work and listen for the sound. I watched a few videos of people with fuel pumps dying and getting the same or similar problem that I'm having so I'm hoping this is the problem. Honestly (even though it can be an expensive fix) I rather know what the problem is than just keep braking down and or damaging other parts to my bike. I'll update more if I hear or discover anything.

Okay, in an effort not to look stupid but a question is a question and I need to know for sure. The fuel pump primes when you turn the bike on. You said it'll be the same noise if it is on during the problem happening. Does it stay on while ridding? Is it suppose to stay on? If it only comes on to pump fuel when needed, what if it's jut not needed when the problems are happening? Like what if the problem happens but the bike doesn't currently need fuel to be pumped... would that mess up this whole trying to see if it's working during the problem? Now of course if it's suppose to stay on while the bike is running... then I understand how it could tell me if it's working or not. Thank you, trying to work my way through these problems.

The pump should be running as long as the bike is. No pump=no pressure=no fuel.... It keeps pumping fuel at high pressure while the fuel pressure regulator sends the extra fuel and pressure back to the tank.
What you are trying to determine is if the pump is quitting and causing problems. It's the easiest thing to check and will determine the next direction of diagnostics.

Okay, drove it home. It happened all the same as it did in the past. This time I hopped off the bike, in neutral.. I pressed my face against the tank and listened for the fuel pump. It happened three time and all three I heard the pump running when I got off the bike and listened.
Interesting update though, every time I turned the bike off after the problem.. waited a couple minutes... it started up and runs fantastic. Has the pull and power like it should. But shortly after, it dies back down and when I get to the slow rpms it hesitates and sputters. That could be a sign as to what the problem is but I don't know where to look or guess at next. Consistently it rides great after being warmed up and turned off for a couple minute after the problem happens. That has to mean something.
