cbr 600rr gas gauge on f4i?

Default cbr 600rr gas gauge on f4i?

Is there any way to put the cbr 600rr gas gauge on the f4i? (I got a '02 f4i) And if anyone has done it please post a "how to..."

Why would you want to do this? Just because it always shows how much gas you have from a completely full tank and doesn't use justa reserve warning? Seems like a lot of work for that...

Just use your trip gauge... it can save you alot of hassel

You'd also be swapping the entire gauge cluster just to get the gas gauge. Pretty silly.

I did a search for you, it seems like the RR gas gauge can be finicky anyway. Assuming you can do it, which may be a pain since the RR and F4i are so different, chances are you wouldn't be happy with the results.

Thanks for the input guys when I really think about it I should just use the trip gauge.

if you have the funds you can also buy a garmin zumo and program it to tell you when you are low on gas - I have mine think I can go 120 miles between fill ups so I'm always set. It tells me when I need gas and where the closest gas station is! I <3 technology :-)
