no mang...said it feels like it's coming from the tank. cctl will let you know if it's bad...but yea...pretty much feels like the tank has crazy vibration...rattilng, etc.
Yeah my old bike has some crazy vibrations in the tank from about 6500 rpms and up. I don't really care anymore, but thats interesting to know.

It may NOT be the CCTL. I replaced mine long ago and that cured the rattling at 5,000, however, I too have a buzzing sound at 10,000 and I have yet to figure out what it is. Sounds like valve train noise. At 7,000 miles though? I think not. It's really hard to diagnose because I only hear it while riding, with the motor under load. I can't hear it if I just rev it to 10,000 in the garage, which I hate doing anyways. If you figure it out, please let me know.

usually the CCTL is under load...when it gets bad then you can hear that rattle at idle...mines does it now...but it's like this...so many farking noises you know mang?
like i swap the CCTL, then i hear this click, so i fix the exhaust leak, only to find out it's valve chatter...and now with the chattering and the CCTL making noise again...in addition to the voices in my head....i just can't keep up! so i would say...get a nice loud exhaust...and say to all them little noises, SHADDUP!

buzzing noise, mine started to develope that as well. just recently after 5900miles.

my buzzing sounds like its coming from the front, like somewhere behind the clock.

I dont know, could be that carbon look dash I fitted recently.

Tahoe - I want a RS-5 do you think that will cure it?

well Thats the problem.

I want a Yoshi but can only run the GP force for the road.

the other on my list are Akrapovic evo, Yoshi RS-5 or moriwaki or Mugen.

Now I am half hearted settle for an Arrow Full road legal system.

so then I thought might as well go for their damper as well.

arrow is good too, just not too many folks here use them.

as for damper, i'd stay with a tried and true company with lots of people buying them and support, like ohlins linear, GPR and scotts. the scotts (designed by ohlins).
