When I got my F4i, it didn't come with a manual. How exactly do you strap it in? I'm assuming you use those one of the 2 rectangular loops underneath the seat?
those are the helmet hooks. I always thought that when I see people doing that they looked strange. Bungeed to the rear seat looks better, and probably safer, IMHO.

How do you use them though? Do you stick the strap in there and strap it in? Do you just stick the rings of the strap through there? And then put the seat back on and stuff? I've never done it, and I don't have a manual to read and look at to see how it's done.

The Manual says not to but theres really no discomfort with it there

Yep. I have an 01' so the helmet is up on the "back seat". I am thinking of putting it on my back pack.. but it seems so much easier to just drive with it up there.. I'll try it out tonight.

I wouldnt dare ride around with one on the banana seat. The 2 seat models seem to have no problem....With the new seat I would stick with bungie nets making sure that the paint ain't rubbin.

I just bought my F4i used this year and the user before me must of used the hooks alot, the paint is worn out where the helmet hits. I was looking to get a net to put it on the back seat but cant find any. does anyone have a net? or know where i could get one at?
