Good to hear you found the problem.

Two things I would suggest,

1. Make sure you get the 10A fuse back in. (like others have already said)

2. Make your electrical connections stronger like soldering or a high quality butt connector at the very least. I like to use the butt connectors with the built in shrink wrap when I dont solder.
