Realtively new to the site and love it. Can't stop reading all the posts. Wanted everyone's opinion and pics of chromed out rims. I personally don't like the black rims on our bikes and love the look of chrome. I've heard that the added weight is so minimal that so long as I'm not a hard core track/twisties guy I would never notice the difference. Looked in the polished look but really like the chrome. Pics and comments please!

Thanks.

chroming weakens the metal, but guys with chrome usually just ride chilled so i don't think that would be an issue.

No ****, chrome is for Harleys. What's next, some leather tassles for your handle bars?

Chrome don't get you home! (an old mantra one of my 4x4 buddies used to say about bling).

Now repeat after me POWDER COAT GOOD, CHROME BAD, CARBON FIBER GOOD, CHROME BAD!

i would just polish for the bling look and then HIGHLY polish it and then coat it...so it looks like chrome but not!
actually i wouldn't do anything, i like the dirty look.
