Meguiars Quick Detailer with a soft microfiber towel. I also keep a good coat of Collinite Sealant on all painted surfaces, headlights, and shield to make road grime and bugs come off easier.

I am really tempted to try pledge...what are the negatives, if any, of using pledge? I always had a hunch it would leave a residue (waxy/oily)?

Made an impulse buy and purchased some Turtle wax Ice Synthetic Detailer...it states for a quick shine uses on paint, glass, plastic and trim. Removes dust, light dirt and fingerprints. Will not leave white residue or stain plastic.

Tried it tonight after my ride. Id say it is ok and does leave a shiny finish but I get a feeling it leaves a "slight" residue unlike something like windex which has no polymers (as ice does). I will use it some more and then make my conclusion. I did though want to spray some in my mouth as it smells like popsicles...
