I need to get a set of bar ends. Any preferences on brand and where to buy? I've read that some of them add some vibration to the clip ons. I just don't want to make a mistake and buy the wrong ones. Thanks in advance.

 

I would avoid Al bar ends, and the same goes for carbon fiber. Any bar end that reduces weight will cause an increase in vibrations.

And the bar ends that correctly fit a Honda are different than other makes of bike. The Honda bar ends have a half cresent on the end that mates with a half cresent on the clip on.

I had a set from HVMP (HVMP.com) installed; they're heavy metal and reduce the vibration somewhat. They have shorts and longs. I got the shorts because the longs were out of stock.

 

You can never go wrong with OEM parts.

 

Like lifties says hvmp are the bar ends to use !

 

I decided on the OEM ones. I didn't really want to drop $50 on the barends right now. Plus I knew the OEM barends would fit. Thanks anyway for the suggestions.

 

The HVMP reduce the vibrations like crazy, and are a perfect fit. Well worth the money.
