Default Bar End Mounts

i just got new bar ends for the 02 F4i... upon removal of my right one, the whole piece that goes inside the bar came out. part of the shaft was broken. not sure if anyone is familiar what i'm talking about but its what you screw your bar end into. where can i get a replacement of one of these?

thanks, i'll try to post pics up later. hope someone knows what i'm talking about though so i don't have to wait til i get home to start searching for replacement parts.

EDIT: found a pic from a ron ayers microfiche... i think i need parts 8, 10, 11, & 12 (not 9, that is the bar end)
EDIT2: i don't want to order from them cause i won't see it for like 2 weeks w/ their processing time. [:@]

Do you have a dealer that can get it quicker?

called them, they want $40+ to get them from honda

i'd rather get them elsewhere used... so i suppose this thread could be moved to parts wanted in the classifieds section.

<cough> mod <cough>

I have some of those part brand new... I was going to rebuild my stock clip-on handle bars but decided to buy vortex ones instead... all that stuff is for weight.. only vibration control

your lucky if that stuff came out... I laid my bike down and it jammed that shaft way up in there... I had to drill it through on a set I used to own. I gave them to my friend and his frankenstein ride... lol he takes all my leftovers, tapes n welds. I really like my vortex racing clips because you can replace just the bar and not the whole clip... plus the angle suits my riding style. you could buy a full set for $120 or so.
