Bannana Seat
Im forever seening people bash the bannana seat but I for one like it. When I ride two up with my wife she doesnt like to be real far away, and i think its easier to control haveing her closer to me. I just wanted to stick up for the bannana seat because im not seeing the love for it from anybody!!!
P.S. : My friend who has a 03 gixer always says "oh thats right you dont have a sport bike" i think hes under the assumption that since our bikes dont have the split seat that they are not sport bikes.... what gives???

I'm not bashing the F4i's with banana seats, I got mad love for all CBR's, that being said, I think people don't think they look like sport bikes with the banana seat. And I also think, thats excatly what Honda was going for. They were trying to push everybody to the RR's. They wanted their sport bike to be the RR not the F4i. And now the F4i is phased out, they aren't (or haven't yet) released an 07 model.
Honda most definitely wasn't trying to push everybody to RR's, read the Honda literature. They wanted people to have 2 viable choices without leaving Honda. If you don't go for trackdays but want a sporting 600 they said they made the F4i for you (an excellent ALL-ROUNDER). It is a more street oriented bike with a more user friendly passenger seat and ergos.
+1
It was the right move to make when the RR came out to make the seat more comfortable, seeing as it was not the top tier 600cc sportbike they offered.
