Just installed my APR, love it, noise gone. I thought it way more of a bitch changing out though than others thought. I consider myself just under aq master mechanic/contractor/fabricator. ANYWAY :
Does this thing need to be tightened/adjusted periodically? Once a year? Once every 2 years?

which method did you do? adjusting it with the motor running or with the head off and checking tension on the cam chain?

you need to adjust it when the noise starts to come back...which can be tomorrow, day after, etc...

if you didn't loctite the lock nut, it'll be like next week ;-)
