i saw one yesterday upclose (cept it was the repsol one, and not the konica minolta one...same deal though) and the fit wasn't that great. from a distance, it didn't look bad, but upclose, i can tell it was cheap knockoff quality. don't forget you'll have to paint your gas tank too or it'll just look retarded.

 

obviously you have to paint the tank.
personally i dont know how comparing the repsol to minolta will help me, should it?

if you dont "personally" see how repsol vs. minolta are both just stickers and the fairings are made from the same company...then i can't help you. i'm telling you the fairings themselves fit like ****. if you're in it for the stickers and don't care how the plastics fit on your bike, go for it.

 

Im just refering to the color scheme....
thats what im interested in; as for the fit, i dont care becasuse if you drill them right then it should not a problem.
and Im expecting a struggle with the new fairings.

 

Nah its not as simple as that. Ive got repsol rep fairings and the front cowling fits horribly, nothing to do with the holes. And the tail is a really bad fit, its so small that i cant even push it down far enough to put the screws in.

Wouldnt recommend em to anyone.

 

last time i checked they arent stickers if they are the kits from hong kong......they are painted on graphics

 

maybe shanedawgg can tell us...but it looked like it was stickers that have been clear coated over (like how it is on our stock gas tanks). stickers or not, the plastics themselves fit like **** as mentioned already. if you want to have the racer replica look, take it to a good paint shop and have them custom paint your OEM fairings in that color scheme. yah, it'll cost you a pretty penny, but you get what you pay for.
