Default Anyone ever run their F4i on the ice?

I have a thread going in the "General Tech" asking a question about the fuel mixture and the cold weather. https://cbrforum.com/m_441088/mpage_.../tm.htm#441088

Anyways, has anyone here ran their F4i in the wintertime...(up north)? Now, I don't mean started their bike to warm it up while in storage. I mean up to operating temperature and beating the hell out of it. I would just like a heads up for any issues that people have come across before I find out first hand. Any advise would be appreciated.

I would worry about plastics cracking. I know there are rubber grommets they screw into but at real cold temp and any flexing might be brittle. I know my tail section has started to crack around the front most screws on both sides. I have ridden at temps about 45f but no lower.

Oh, that's for sure! Right now, I'm only running with tail plastic, an after-market headlight pod, and an R6 front fender. The tail plastic is all messed up already, so I could care less about that. I'll probably mask off as much of the electrical with rubber from an inner-tube as I can to avoid water intrusion.

I did man. I had the bike out last night. It was like 17 degrees out and ice all over the roads. I almost dumped it getting out of the driveway. I had to go out to fill up the tank so it wouldn't rust though. I was just waiting hoping that there would be atleast one more 40degree and sunny day but I guess since we already had like 5-6" of snow on the ground when I took it out and we're getting another 4-6" tonight I should just put it away for the winter. =( /cry
