Yea I called and they don't, the parts come painted from the factory. The more expensive tail was from a Yellow 2002 and the cheaper one was from a white 2001.

They are factory Honda parts & come painted, as said. The CS folks I've dealt w/ there have been completely professional & helpful.

I haven't been able to find any silver fairing with candy red striping. It's a limited 05 model, but D9 doesn't show they have it. Order?

Wow, D9 industries is by far the cheapest I've seen for a full fairing kit!

But I wonder, do those kits resemble OEM paint.
To be more exact, I am referring to the subtle silver flake that the 2001 White/Red color scheme has.
When you take a good look at the OEM white parts, you can see a very subtle multi-color flake on the paint.

I'm just wondering if those fairing kits come similar to that or if its just White/Red gloss.

Id prob get the whole kit, its probably cheaper, I mean i need everything EXCEPT the front tire hugger or to be politically correct the "front fender", My gas tank is in perfect shape so I would hope that they match the graphics and the paint well.. I spoke to D9 on the phone, the dude seemed really nice and friendly. www.motorcycle-fairing.com badmouthed D9 but i dont think they had annnnny idea about anything they said. Im probably gonna order that kit from D9.

You would just really have to ask them, I know they make them on the spot as soon as your order them to your spec. Maybe they could hit it with the paint you wanted but you wouldn't know unless you ask.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why you guys want to pay THAT MUCH to do the split seat thing. I'm sure I'll understand someday though!

Why would you want to pay THAT MUCH for a bike period? Because its badass.. and whats a few hundred to make your bike sweet, to only make it back plus some once you sell your stock parts.
