Default Anybody with a high mount mid pipe---help?

The previous owner of my 01 f4i installed an Akrapovic slip on. I want to keep the can, but use a high mount mid pipe instead. So my question to anyone with a high mount (or knowledge of them), what size is your pipe where it leads into the can? Micron, M4, any brand!

they are all different... you best bet is to take it to a exhaust shop and have them make you a mid ppe

A lot of people underestimate those places. Youll be surprised at the amount of stuff theyll do for you and charge you only like $10-20. Sometimes theyll even do quick and easy jobs for free. A midpipe shouldnt run you too much at all i think youll be pleasantly surprised. If they say itll be something unreasonable then just try another shop.

Yeah, I have a shop right up the street that did a job for me for a vehicle a couple years ago. I'll talk to them, and if they don't want to deal with it then there is a guy a few miles away that does all stainless steel systems. There are a handful of other places around too, so chances are I can find a guy willing to work with me

Chances are they will not have the right machinery to make a smooth bend. Cars and trucks are different, their exhausts don't show so it doesn't matter how the bend looks. I believe the machine is called a mandrine bender that makes smooth bends. I had a high pipe made for my 2001 VFR and it is better than nothing but still cost me 70.00 for the guy to make me.
