Your 3rd post and you already make it known that you know absolutely nothing about what you are talkin about. If you decrease the power to weight ratio (adding more weight to the bike like chrome) your bike is going to be slower whether you can "feel it" or not.

^Again the difference would not be noticeable. It would be no different than powdercoating or even a decent paint job, The extra weight would be miniscule at best.

"Miniscule"

In a match up of the same bike, with comparable riders, and one weighing more than the other, the lighter bike is just going to keep pulling. Even .1 of a second is a HUGE difference when it comes to the speeds you are reaching on a sportsbike.

There was also a rider change which probably is what made the biggest difference. Who's to say the riders are comparable ?

Hey if you have a chromed out bike dont try drag race it ...............
Go hit some corners and make the guy on the faster bike try to keep up ..........

I'm not going to argue that point. Yes they swap riders but even topped out, in the first video, the camera bike blows passed him. In the second video the rider on the ZX-14 is on the chase bike and when they get to top speed he just gets left in the dust.

Not to mention professional riders go out of their way to shave oz. off their bike. Guess they dont know what we obviously do.

Ok so.......If you want to squid it up and go AS FAST AS POSSIBLE in a straight line, then don't chrome your F4i. Unless your out there racing everyday I think that (IF you want it) chrome is just fine. You can still hit twisties hard with a chromed F4i, you can still wheelie all day with a chrome F4i, you can still stoppie all night with a chrome F4i so I think it really just comes down to if you like the look of chrome or not. If your a drag racer/racer and want to shave off oz's then dont chrome.

and again if people are really worried about shaving off oz's on an F4i then WHY do they have an F4i? I would think someone that serious would lean towards an rr,zx6 or a bike along those lines
