i was wondering if i can use my stock subframe off my 05 banana seat and buy just the tail and seats off of a 01-03 and make them fit on too the current subframe with some modification. how hard would that be? any help would be great i am sure someone has tried this hopefully it will work lol.

 

I highly doubt it will work.. I have two 06 subframes laying around and the 01-03 subframe I have installed on my 06 f4i.. I put them side by side when I did the conversion and they have completely different.....dimension (I guess you would say)..
the 01-03 subframe kinda points upward..
