If nobody can get them for me, when I do the install I'll post exact dimentions, including the length of the piece of plastic when straight :-)

so I'm finally doing it - making and installing my own angel eyes, with a twist... :-)

I'll have pics and a movie of it once it's done - I will also get exact measurements for those who want to pre-fabricate their rings and then take apart the front. So far I've spent approximately 4 hours and i am NOT happy with my products, so I'm going to start over (but teardown + picture taking took quite some time)

stay tuned...

I just wanted to say "Thanks" for this post. Especially the link that 'kulrevon' provided. Because of it, I just finished making some for my 1000RR and I also made a "How-To" over here

sooooooo close to being done - I'll do a full write up of my own once I'm 100% done, but here are some quick pics

note the one color is pink because it's actually a color changing LED and when I took the picture it was pink - I'll upload a vid on google once it's all done...

tell me what you think!!

oh, and I may have added some more LED's under the cowling - think it puts off enough light?? ;-)

Any update? What is the OD of your headlight ie what did you cut the rod too? Also, will Radio Shack or the likes sell an LED bright enough for this? Do you have a wiring schematic ( I have no patience for wiring LOL ) looking to do this here this weekend.

Hey Sorry - I decided there's really no need for a full write - up, there is sufficient information on this thread (and some others on the forum). If you have any specific quetions let me know. I don't know the diameter in inches - I used a large tomato can. Regardless - the true diameter doesn't really matter as you will need to take the headlights apart anyway so you need to find something around your house that will fit nicely.

I did however take pictures throughout the entire process so i can help you out however you want.

No wiring schematic necessary either, every job will be different - personally I used a 270ohm resistor and wired everything up to a remote switch...

Cool thanks. I went through the pain of doing my under tail on my own and integrating (or trying) my turn signals to my brake (which btw is impossible with the converters I used.) So I guess I'll try this out. I'm more for the DIY projects. Should something arise I'll be sure to ask don't worry lol Thanks
