Am I too big or is it too small

Where do you sit on the seat? Just recently I've decided to slide my butt back in the seat, and lean over the handlebars a little more. Not only do I find myself cruising at higher speeds, but it is much more comfortable for my legs. If I sit upright, it takes the strain off my arms, but really makes my legs sit funny on the pegs.

A 1k will not fix your problem with your arms, proper positioning n posture will. Use your stomach and back muscles to support your weight not your ARMS!!!
5'9" @130lbs isnt big either dude, its actually below avg size for a male. You're excuse is a cop out!!!

i'm 6"5" too and really one of the reasons i bought the f4i is because of its size, definitely a bigger bike for it's displacement. i see guys with zx 10's and the new 1000 get asked all the time are they 600's because of the size, the f4i is a much mor stout and larger bike than some of the newer stuff

I don't know man. It seems that if you were any shorter, like me, you'd be tip toeing at a stop light. 5'9" is just about right for the F4i. And 130 lbs is big?

are you out of your mind? These bikes are design for a rider thats about that size.

Thanks all for your feedback. I appreciate that the F4i is a more comfortable sportsbike than the latest crop of more track focused 600s and I have no intention of changing the bike for a larger one at this stage because I love the the thing. I have put on a double bubble screen which helps if I push back as far as possible on the seat but on journeys of over an hour I find myself having to shift around a lot to keep comfortable. I have found that I can sit quite happily on the rear seat and can make longer journeys more tolerable by alternating between the rider seat and the pillion seat as well as by moving my foot from heel to toe and back again. I will look at a custom seat as a next purchase.
