i wanna install an alarm on my f4i,does anyone know where is the ignition wire?

naw bro..too cool to steal anything,I like not having a record.I can put the ignition kill on the battery fusebut the right way to wire it is to use the ignition. if you don't know just say so bro

Um, remove the seat and put the kill on the battery.

A good location (recommended by scorpi) is on the fuel pump. That way if it goes off accidentally while you're in a corner the bike won't just die - it'll just behave like it ran out of gas.

i honestly dont know your answer but if you do a search there is an online free service manual you can download to your pc with all the information your looking for it has wiring digrams and every thing and could come in usefull for other things you might need to do to your bike

Check out stephygee's page http://www.stephygee.com/ she has alot of manuals on there, the f4i manual is about 100mb so it make take a min if you dont have highspeed. Or go drop 40-60 bucks at the stealership........


ps. you'll need adobe to read the manual if you choose to d/l it

fuel pump wire is brown
