Question Akrapovic Midpipe Help

The full system Akrapovic that I bought for my 06 F4i does not include a midpipe mounting point. I'm pretty sure I shouldn't just leave it hanging. I did a pre-fit to see how things work out and they seem to be very nice and snug.

What are my options for the midpipe?

Just tighten a stainless adjustable clamp around the pipe, then tie it with a length of wire to the frame (where the OEM pipe used to attach). My Akra mid-pipe doesn't have the bracket either, and that's how it's supported. Although it might not really be necessary to support the mid-pipe, I'll agree with you, in that it can't hurt to do so either.
Once you re-attach the fairings, you won't be able to see it.

It doesn't need a mounting point. Unless you didnt tighten down the headers properly it's not going anywhere.

You gave me an idea with the clamp. So this is what I did.

I first took the clamp and chopped it up, got a hex screw and nut and some washers.

Then I took the remaining piece, and made a straight piece with a hole for the original bolt and the new bolt.

This does take a lot of work though. You need special dill bits (colbalt hardern drillbits or cement drillbits) and bench grinder, angle grinder, or a dremel with lots of time. Don't forget locktight.
