People have painted them before. I've never really been a fan of them painted ever.

They also make them in carbon fibre, which is pure sexiness.

First off, you sir, have yourself a sweet lookin motorbike. Very nice.
Props.

Secondly, have a gander here:
http://store.58cycle.com/product_p/c...0air%20f4i.htm

They look great, but are fairly pricey.
Good luck with either route, and posts some pics of what you decide to do.

I plan on going with a CF one. I'm trying to find a cover you just put over them. No way in hell I'm paying 200 for "covers" Unless it replaces the whole thing, forget that.

No, it does replace both whole pieces. The pieces themselves are called air duct covers.

That does look very nice.
Kinda elongates the tank, makes it look like it's integrated with the rest of the front faring.

I've always admired the Repsol look myself.

Now I'm wonderin how they would look painted white and on your motorbike.

I gotta say, that Repsol looks pretty nice to me. The powder coated wheels & other attention to detail, really make the bike look great.
