i actually dont have hids lol i have some cheap 10 dollars lights from ebay their just white instead of standard yellow and their alot lighter than hids because i ride with both lights on i dont have high beams on also the light ur talking about it has nothing to do with hids or lights its my halos!

iits probolly the best and msot unique thing i have on my bike nobody in the area has them! lol and they look alot better at night and in person!

^^Scuff it up a little bit, and paint it with a heat resistant paint.

there was a guy that posted up a how to with it a few months ago, dont remeber his name tho. he also made a how to on the windscreen chop, it was very detailed so shouldnt be too hard to find in the search

he even said exactly what paint he used and how he sprayed it

 

no doubt thanks-----ive got a red and black scheme and i'm leaning back and forth on wether or not i'm going to do it red or black....anyone have pics?
