RE: Adjust rear brake ?
Yeah - I thought with Sport Bikes all braking is done with only the Front Brake and Engine Braking for noral stopping situations not for panic/emergency stopping
(Downshifting the gears - one at a time - matching the rpms to help with the braking while using the front brake).

RE: Adjust rear brake ?
I`m talking about the boot on the bottom of the master cylinder . Does the boot just slide down as I don`t want to force it out of there and break it if its not suppose to . Also which way would I need to turn the nut after I have put new pads on at the moment the pedal hardly moves and the brake dosn`t work .

RE: Adjust rear brake ?
Why do people not want to use the rear brake? I use it all the time. Saves the front brake so it will last longer, if you only need a little braking before a corneryou can turn tighter with rear brake on than you can with front brake. The front is certainly the meat and potatos of braking.
I also feel like I am prematurely wearing out my clutch by downshifting at all stops to help slow the bike down. I'd much rather replace pads than replace clutch earlier than I should have to.
