600 F4i(2002)......converting low beam headlights from 1 to 2..??
Hello,
I am thinking about having the headlamps run 2 bulbs instead of 1 on my 02 CBR600 F4i in the low beam position and am wondering if anyone has converted their low beam headlamp setting to do this? If so, can someone guide me through the process of this procedure?
Thanks Much!

First off don't let me tell you what not to do.. but the reason for the one running light is the other light has a little different optics pattern to diffuse the light and give you a better lighting spread when both lights are on. I guess what I am trying to say is that if you put a full time light in the high beam side it would be like high beams full time. And yes I do always get the " Hey one of your lights are burned out" also. keep in mind the additional drain on the battery that the additional light will create. hope this helps

I always run with my brights on and I rebeamed the high beam side so its at the same level as the low side. How i did it was just pulled it in the garage and with the bike standing straight up and about 7 or 8' back pointing at the wall adjust them until the bottom line of light is straight across. ( the adjustment is under the rubber boot if I remember right) Just havin the one light on just bugs me for some reason. HWN is right though, It does drain on your battery. Most time its not an issue unless for some reason you are starting and shutting off your bike alot for some reason.
Hope that helps.

I gotta side with hwnf4i on this one 100%
I got low beam converted to HID which gives very dense lighting in the low pattern, but there are times I need the high beam (now a Silverstar) pattern. I would let those clever engineers in Japan do the thinking in this case and leave the lights the way they intended. I've learned to ignore the 'one light out' comment just like I ignore the 'you girlfriend is hot' comment.
