The R1's are nice....I'm looking to see what honda comes out with first though

The only bike I would buy other than Honda would be Ducati. Anything else would be a downgrade.

I would say go with the 1000RR. You retain the Honda quality (though, you'll pay a little extra for it), and it's looking to shape up to be an incredible machine from what I've read all over the net. (even if they're just rumors.)

I'm not a liter bike guy, I like bikes you have to rev the **** out of. I'll probably keep my F4i forever for thestreetsand maybe get a600RR or Gix750 for the track.

I may end up keeping the f4i forever too....just keeping my options open while I can since I'm getting married next year.

I know lots of people who had both 600's and 1000's. They would rather have the 600cc's because it can maneuver much better than the liter bikes. Those who have liter bikes like it just to cruise with.

Other than that.... I WOULD LOVE to have a 1000RR. Although 99.9999999999921% of the bike's potential will go to waste due to my desperate attempt to keep my driving record clean of tickets for the next few years.

Also, insurance for me would be terrible with a liter bike.
