My new 2001 F4i
I bought this bike mid June, haven't been able to stop working on it ever since. The guy selling it was the original owner and took extremely great care of it. The bike had 13,xxx miles on it and was pretty much stock except the Two Brothers Exhaust, a power commander, and the windscreen. It didn't have a scratch on it, and the guy wanted $4k. When I went to see it, he wouldn't let me ride it, so he did a little demo for me. As he was coming back into the drive way, he dropped it on the left side at a very low speed, but still scratched the left lower fairing to hell (definition of irony). He knocked $500 off the price, and I took it. I used the $500 I saved on the bike, to get it the way it below, that includes painting the bike that color (BMW charcoal, my dad's buddy owns a body shope and gave me a great deal). What do you guys think, $4k for this bike.

RE: My new 2001 F4i
well, I live in Los Angeles, so bikes don't really sell for cheap, I shopped for a long time, and that was way cheaper than anything I ever saw. Anyway, I love it now because it is unique, and it's mine. Plus, despite some frustrating moments, it gave me hours of enjoyment installing new mods, ans he subsequent "show-off" rides right after you finish an install.
