The first one may work. Usually guys will just replace the diode, and they are directional, but that seems easier if you aren't good at soldering electronic stuff. The other ones I can't see.

An OEM contact base is under 40 bucks and can be had separately.

from which site? The Contact base is what I’m wanting? As long as it’s oem it will have to diode? Ya I’m done trying to get around this little thing. I found the diode and ordered 200 of them for 5 bucks. Also ordered 300 variety pack of them for same price. Since it seems it’s pretty easy to break or burn out. I am going to get the contact plate as well. I can’t even get the iron man 9v trick to work again like they had it.

so any tips on connecting new one and not burning it out or ruining it? Should be fine as long as I removed extra wires and nothing is grounding out correct?

And thanks by the way. I’ll get this thing going again. Have tires to buy and pads and a new front rotor. Get registration current. Insurance. I sure don’t feel like paying a buttload on the stupid ignition. $40 bones is reasonable tho and will be done with that part. Dread buying tires. $300+ and no way round that. The front left rotor is toast. I will have to either buy one exact rotor or two new.? Can’t be different on one side can it?...lol oem rotor I’m sure is gunna be high.. there’s goes my $1200 trump buy off money....haha. Oh and most importantly $89 for 1 year gps tracking with a SIM card. Short of being in a garage I don’t think it possible to keep em from ripping it off if they want it. Was think about an alarm too but reading about ignition I’ve read a lot of people having a hard time getting alarm to work with the famous pink wire and diode. Or am I mistaken and not difficult to hook one up ? Should I even bother?

I looked it up on hondaparts-direct.com, just for a quick reference and they had it for $32. It will have the diode, as it's an OEM part.
