2002 F4i HID problem !!! HELP
Whats UP all, Just wondering anyone got any info , on why I Keep blowing my headlight 10 amp fuse , when i start my bike up , I just put a low beam HID kit in , but it seems it blows the fuse every other time when I start tthe bike up ??????
Is there a possible , short, open in the circuit, Anyone got any cluess, let me know , need a solution

The ballast is probably pulling too much juice when it restarts (meaning when the light turns off when the ignition button is pushed). If you're using a 55w HID bulb/ballast, then that is probably your problem.
Otherwise can't say for sure. I've run two different sets of HIDs on my bike and never blown a fuse.

Yea, somethin sounds wrong. I have high/low beam HID running off the 10amp fuse and have never blown it. Maybe its pullin to many amps, or you have a lesser quality ballast. If you are sure that it isnt wired wrong, try a 15, wouldnt go any higher than that, for I would fear you could damge wires.

Also if it were wired wrong, it would blow the fuse anytime the bulb tried to ignite, not just when the bike is starting (IE it would blow once the key was turned on).
Sounds like a crappy ballast...

whew, glad I looked around on the forums before i purchased my set of HID conversion kit. http://starrotors.com/bulbs/, im looking to get the 8000K iceberg blue from there.
