oh no no, I’m just too lazy to go and count hahahahah I believe it’s up two in the back and down 1 up front? Or up 1 and down 2. Whichever gives more torque.


Down one in the front and up 2 in the back

So you went from 16/46 to 15/48, to 2.875 to 3.2, or 11% different - so you would expect your RPM to be 11% higher for the same speed. 7K at 55mph now would have been ~6200rpm before.

Now I think you understand the repercussions of messing with the standard ratios - more torque sure, but nothing comes for free.

I mean I understood that from the start, but I never got the torque in return is my reason of concern. I never got any more power 🤣

You can't gain power by changing the sprocket ratios, you can convert speed to torque though.

You didn't answer:

Will it not run past 10k in any gear?
OR
Does going 75mph make it get to 10k rpm and you don't want to run it any higher?
