The miles wouldn't scare me...it is a honda. My 06 has just over 5000 miles on it now (11 months old), what would worry me are the mods...it sounds like the 10,000 miles may have hard miles since he changed things to increase performance. The Corbin seat is a plus though, good luck on finding the right bike.

They are all rode hard in one way or another. Look on ebay or other sites to get an idea of a price. Good luck.

Do you think an offer of 4000 would be a good start, then take the mods and sell them. i should be able to get 200 for power commander and something for the extra panel. thanks Jordan

Why would you want to sell the mods. In all reality you would probably just end up getting about the same stuff back later anyway. Besides, as far as the power commander goes if you take it off and keep the pipe you will kill your mileage. The stock pipe weighs ALOT more than the one that is on it now and you are safer with the added noise also. Just my opinion.

I have a 2001 600 F4I and gave $4200 for it. It has a D & D exhaust and carbon fiber all over it. It had 10,000 miles on it. The guy told me all he did was run it up and down the main strip which was evident of the lack of use on the sides of the rear tire. Bike is super clean and even got the helmet with it. I think it was worth it.

4500 miles/ yr is not unreasonable.
Used Helmet: Worthless
Extra Plastics: Could be worth some cheese depending on what it is/ condition, etc.
Maintenance records: Adds value, esp considering it sounds like he lived 1/4 mile at a time.
