2001 vs 2002 F4i
it all depends on your location. That would not be out of reason where I live for a bike of that vintage in good shape
RE: Price - I don't know what is up with this year, but sport bikes and dual sports are being listed for waaaay more than they were a couple of years ago. Meanwhile, cruisers (foreign and domestic) are dirt cheap...
I'm too young for a cruiser. Now is not a good time to buy a motorcycle. In spring, everyone wants to ride and demand is up. In the late summer and fall, people in northern parts are trying to decide if they want to store their motorcycle for another year. That's how I purchased CBR's in Minniapolis, MN, Milwaukee, WI, Syracuse, NY, and Bristol, TN.
Yeah having owned an F4i myself, I would also say that the 2001 White F4i looks a whole lot better taken care of. Almost all of its panels look factory (including windshield, fairings, etc) whereas the red bike's nose fairing and windscreen definitely look aftermarket. You can always change plastics yourself later for not much money, but be sure to get a well kept bike.
You'd be lucky to get $3500 out of it here in AZ. My F4i with its mileage is virtually worthless lol
