Looking at these two bikes. Wondering which you guys would recommend or if there was any significant differences.

I am bias on color selection and if all things are equal, and by that I mean no damage, runs good and within similar mileage of say 5K miles of each other, I'd get the 2002 since I love RED. Honda RED. FTW

There were no model changes until 2004, so they are essentially the same bike, other than the color scheme...

 

I like the 01. The white and red combination is really good.

Condition of the machine, how it was cared for, and value for the money should be the primary factors in your decision

 

The red one looks like the nose cone doesn't fit too well? I think it's been repaired/re-sprayed as it's also missing he CBR logo on the edge...?

I actually own a red and black FSport, but I like the white, don't see too many of those over here.

All those stickers scream stunted, abused, and not meticulously maintained to me.

The L/H cowl picture looks odd and no CBR stickers so does not seem original. If not what has happened to the bike, you need to ask the owner.
Condition, condition, condition should be the overriding factor as echoing Doc they are identical bikes apart from the colour and how much love or not they have had.

 

It's hard to say from a couple of pictures. Reviewing in person would be the best.

 

I have to agree that depending on care and condition being the deciding factors - which you may not be able to find out.

If all things being equal I'd get the white/red.
