You gotta check out the local auctions. I went down to Toledo and got my 01 f4i for $1500 at a police auction, and rode it home.(to the D) It came with a salvage title due to an unclaimed affidavit. (all vehicles from police auctions have a salvage title, unless they were used by the city, in which case they have a "municiple" title) It's got 23+++ on it and Yeah its been down a time or three, and needs a front fairing. (broke but not too bad). After a bid war with the original owner I ended up paying 400 more. (yes I almost rode away on an $1100 bike) So what, who cares about a salvage title, stunters cost that much with a buncha ziptied plastics, if they got any at all. Anyways check out your local auctions.

i just checked like all the craigslist cities around my area, or however far i was willing to go
i checked that and ebay like everyday almost, and cbr forum for like 5 or 6 months before i bought mine lol
just be patient
