Don`t think everything the seller tells you is the absolute truth as more often than not its not . He probably bought the bike for 2k spent 20 bucks on it and 2 months later wants to make 1k from it . Or like otherwise stated there is something wrong with it why else would he only keep it for 2 months-red flag .

hey check out craigslist.com it's in your area i just bought a 02 f4i w/11,000 on it for $2,400.00 all it was missing was the side fairings...great deals if your patient and just wait for the right deal to come along...make sure that when you do buy due a back ground check on the bike, cause i came accross dude's trying to sell me stolen bikes, bikes that had been in wreck's with frame damage and never showed that it got fixed...just due your homework...

THat's a little pricey...I bought a O3 F4i with 14k for $2,200 but that's in STL where we have fewer months to ride...I know on CL there's an 05 F4i with 6xxx for $3,000 and it doesn't have teh gaybanana seat...If you have the $$$ just wait for the deal on CL...During this time of the year bikes are chepaer because not as many people have cash for the holidays adn have to give up something they don't need (According to their wives lol)

i sold my 02 with a bit over 40K on the clock for 2400 or so. granted it had suspension work, full exhaust, pc3, etc.
the price is high, but these bikes will go practically forever if the owner knows what he/she is doing.
it's been painted, which usually means it was crashed sometime ago.
