What tires are on the bike and are they in good shape? Different tires have different
profiles and could change the height of the bike.

Check if you bike lean far enough on the side stand.. a lowered bike usually rests more upright on the side stand than a non-lowered bike.

Check the easy stuff, spanner nut on shock backed off on rear, or dog bone replaced with wrong one?

And on the front check the shock shoulder protrusion through the top of the steering head, the stock height is supposed to be 33 mm. Are the preload adjusters backed all the way off?

Stock rear spring is yellow in color, so if it is any other color it may relate to your issue.

So just got the bike back, after putting in a new shock, this raised the bike up around 1/2" -3/4", which must have been part of the problem (possibly worn out? who knows), but it still sits about a half inch low... So after getting it back I did a rough measurement of the dogbone and it looks like it may be 14.39mm shorter than the measurement of 141.39mm you gave me for the stock length... If that is so that rounds out to 9/16 inch (probably 1/2 since I did a rough measurement) so I suppose the next step is to get a stock one ordered that is the correct length and all should be good! Much appreciated for the help on my first of many posts!

Also, where would be a good place to find a stock dogbone? I am having some trouble locating one.

You'll just have to look for adjustable lowering links that can adjust back up to stock height. I found this one here for my bike: Adjustable Lowering Link - Silver - 1in. by Yana Shiki - A2861LRC - Cheap Cycle Parts

Looks like that could get kind of expensive tho, can you live with it just a half inch lowered?

I'll probably just scour the web and find a used one and get that sucker where it needs to be!
