150 MPH today!!!
145 a couple of times and 163 tops so far, thats displayed speed. The 163 I tried to race the jet for the place I work when it was taking off, I kept up right until it left the ground then it took off and left me LOL And before someone b!tches I have riden this road 10000 times and its has little traffic and its straight and smooth, well not anymore, but it was now its got that damn tar with gravel over it.
I could have went faster, but thats where I let off. I wasn't trying to see how fast it would go, but a buddy of mine had an f4i up to 173 displayed

you guys are crazy hitting that speed on the street. First..what about other traffic or animals running out? second what would happen if you got caught?
The highest Ive hit was 147 indicated....but that was on a runway at the airport I work at....fenced in from animals and no cars. and no speed limits
The bike felt stable and had some left... but i would never do it on a street with all those bumps and variables.

... dont tell me that if you drive the same road everyday 4-10 times... that you dont know where every pot hole is, or any impurity in the road? u know when u wake up at 6:00am and start heading off to work, that u subconsciously drive, and manouver around obsticles, pretty crazy huh? by the time u get to work, u didnt even think twice how u got there. you were more focused on watching the clock making sure you werent late or finding your favorite song in your ipod
everyone has their own limits, not promoting anything... but its pointless to bring up the fact that ppl do this type of thing on the street, its kinda like yelling at a deaf dog
i think its more dangerous just watchin a 80 year old woman just try to back out of the driveway
there are still responsible ways to push the limits

i hit indicated 163 with my bike all stock. it definately didnt have aymore because i held it there for like a mile and it would just flip between 165 and 163. i did notice hotter weather or slight headwind did affect the top end a lot. the fastest ive been is indicated 190 on my friends busa. that thing is definately powerful. i also had a kaw zzr1200 up to indicated 170. i guess 165 isnt too bad for a 600.
i agree with JV. there is a time and a place for everything and its just about having your head on straight and know your limits. i feel more at risk in traffic and driving through busy intersections than speeding on an open back road or empty freeway. mosy mc accidents are from other drivers not seeing you or just underskilled total morons that have no idea what there bike is capable of doing. oh, or 80 year old women backing out of the driveway in front of you.
ok, before we turn this into a shouting match....We F4i guys have to stick together, just let everyone do what they please, give suggestions, but dont downgrade someone... ive gotten my bike up to 143 (dumb) on a highway in Redneck No Cars, Missouri...fun but fast, maybe too fast...anyway let them do what they want, remember "To be Old and Wise, you have to be Young and Stupid" first.

dunny, my F3 is faster than my F4i, as far as i've ridden it. Probably about 135 on the F4i, and I've gotten up to 145 (at least thats what the race school instructor said) on the back straight at Jennings GP on the F3 (but to be fair, I had a huge barrier that i had to break through while i was still riding the F4i at the track)
straight line speeds dont interest me too much

if you have a good record you wont even come close to jail if you run. my buddy ran from the cops doin 120 and went through 3 towns before they caught him with a road block. nothings faster than the radio haha. he didnt have a perfect record at all but they only took his motorcycles license for 2 years.
Ya, no big deal.
He only risked his own life, those of the officers chasings him, the lives of the general public, and willingly commited a felony.
Glad he got off light. Good on him!
Next time maybe they will spike strip his *** and let him pavement surf for awhile before they take him in.
