1000 front master cylinder on F4i??

Default 1000 front master cylinder on F4i??
I just gotan '02 F4i a couple weeks ago, thePO installed a different front brake master cyl and lever, he said it was from a 1000. It has a big round fluid reservior instead of the rectangular one. Is there some advanage to this? I'm guessing the original one broke and this is just what he found to replace it.

well...the radial type are supposedly better...but yet to be proven...
i have one from a gixxer on mine. looks ****!

I don't like the look of the round fluid reservior. Its on many new bikes . IT LOOKS LIKE A URINE SAMPLE CUP WITH PEE IN IT !

I don't like it either.... it blocks my view of the tach!
